Make sure to rub the inner part of the onion against the surface to loosen up the gunk before cleaning. To prevent burns, spear the onion with a long fork and rub it like a makeshift brush.

Next, start inspecting the burner tubes. Look for any blockages which can range from debris or spider webs that can prevent one from using the igniter. If spotted, use a wire brush to gently scrub the portholes from upwards to downwards. This is important since brushing from side to side only moves blockages aside without actually removing them.

To check for your flame color, first turn off your tanks including your control valve then disconnect your tank. Once this is done, open and close the valves then start reconnecting the fixtures again. Slowly turn on the gas to see if the flame changed color. If this does not work, consider having your burner ports changed.

There are many reasons why barbecue parties continue to be a staple in most households. Aside from freshly grilled meat and warm sunshine, it can be a great way for casual foodies to test out their inner chef. However, to enjoy your food better it is always a good idea to clean your equipment first so you can experience the true flavor of your meats without problem.
