Normally, for a thermoplastic molding to be carried out a polymeric material is transferred from a feed hopper in form of a granule or powder to a heated barrel. After the item being molded cools down, the mold is opened for the ejection of the molding. The ejection process is done by use of ejector pins which are coupled through ejector plate connected to hydraulic actuator. The mold can be either removed manually, by an automated robot or may fall free into a box. The cycle can be repeated again once the mold is basically clear from the mold tool. These are the steps which are carried out during the molding injection of plastics
