It is also of great importance to set a steady plan of the complete project. There has to be a clear path to the end of the project and a time approximation of when the job will be complete. Marking your calendar ensures you keep time and are up to date with every workers task. This prevents the project from being impeded by the delay of workers who are not doing their specific jobs.

Staying ahead of deadlines is another way to mitigate risk. Every sound project has a deadline. Being the head of the construction, you need to give each worker at the site a deadline that is earlier than the real deadline. This gives you time to manage challenges when they are encountered without affecting the real deadline.

Insurance is a key method of reducing risk. Every machine as well as the workers at that site must have insurance. This will prevent you being the head of the project from having to pay for damages or accidents that happen at the sites. Accidents where a project manager is held liable will definitely delay the whole process. All viable projects have risks, but these risks can be reduced greatly by good organization and planning. Risk mitigation needs constant attention but it might be one of the best ways money can be saved when handling a construction project.
